Is it normal for a teenager to go to therapy?

Yes, it's completely normal and helpful for teens to go to therapy. Many teens benefit from counseling to navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, and identity issues.

When to worry about your teenager?

You should be concerned if your teenager shows persistent changes in behavior, mood, or academic performance, withdraws from friends and family, or exhibits signs of depression or anxiety. Sometimes, teens will even come out and ask you to go to counseling—just listen to them. 

What age is appropriate for counseling?

What are the red flags that a child will exhibit with possible emotional and behavioral problems?
